Great idea to have ticket set UP for this always busy legendary spot. Food doesn't disappoint, but it's best you know exactly what you want. Orders can get confused fast. Staff here seems to like their jobs.

This place is known for it's exceptional taste of the Caribbean cuisine. It is always amazing going there. The food and pastries are delicious. However, because of the high demand there is sometimes a long wait. Upon entering please grab a ticket. They call customers by the ticket number up to the counter to order. So next time you're around the area and have some free time, stop by Sybil's and enjoy the delicious taste of the Caribbean.

I had chicken chow mein it was wonderful,filled with fresh veggies and chicken. For the best guyanese food stop by. Make sure you have time to spare, there's always a long line, but well worth it.

The turn around is fast,that what makes the food fresh. Service is fast relevant to the crowd that is always there. Use one credit/debit card and you'll end up with free purchases.

This by far is the best Guyanese in Queens. The soup, and goat are my standards. Pastry and cakes here. Polite staff. Just be prepared for short waits around lunchtime.

This place has been a staple in the community since before I moved here in 1989. Great food! The best for West Indian Pastries! There is a line so make sure take a number, but the line moves pretty quick. I definitely recommend this place!

They dont answer the phone. I called they put me on hold and never came back. I call 7 times after and no one answered. Smh

The food here is good!! The doubles are my favorite... I ate the curry chicken, oxtails, and eggplant. All delicious. It gets crowded here but that's because they're making delicious food. ♥️

A must every time i hit NY . Always bring home patties and other baked goodies on my way back out of town . Service is good and food is consistent .

Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Pastries are very tasty. Staff very polite. The owner is very mannerly and welcoming to his very clean establishment.

I drove 2hrs to this restaurant because I've been craving good Guyanese food. The drive was worth it. They met and exceeded my expectations. The restaurant was packed but that's a sign that the food is top notch. The atmosphere was refreshing and the customer care was excellent. The girl who assisted me was extremely kind and helped me to navigate the vast menu. Now the food, let's just say if I lived in that area I would be eating there everyday. Very busy restaurant that offers Guyanese and Jamaican cuisine. There is a lot of staff working behind the counter either preparing customers' meals or taking phone orders. The location is well lit and clean. You must take a number at the door and wait to get called. Service is quick, and the food portions are plentiful and delicious. Credit cards and cash are accepted.

Clean place, good food and a lot of it! I love coming here, and sometimes I order when I have guests. They are that good.

We love going here. Our family goes here to buy in bulk since we live upstate NY and we don’t have anything close up there. Workers are always friendly and fast. And I’m loving their adaptability due to the COVID-19

Bought a few doubles unfortunately already prepared, while eating I found hair inside. I had no choice but to throw it in the trash FYI the doubles were bad (hard and tasteless)as well. Service was equally the same!!;(

Alert, their entrees are now made with the freshest halal meat! Nice spot. Traditional carribean "Guyanese" to the max. Peanut punch, coconut water, beef pattie and coco bread, fish sandwiches, and more!!! Try it, you'll like it, it's good!

Sybil’s is a place I enjoy visiting once a week or a few times a month. Their food is always tasty and very satisfying, which Is the reason why I keep regularly going back. The only drawback is the crowd since I drive there and parking is limited. That only speaks of how many others enjoy their cuisine. However, this is easily dealt with by going to their other location on Hillside Ave. Either location has great food

Great stop for some local Guyanese food. Food is served warm and fresh. May have a bit of a wait but it's worth it if you're in need of some Guyanese food! Worth the trip and wait!

im desi and i love Caribbean food. the oxtail and chow mein is good but i think the doubles could be stuffed with more channa in my opinion. but i still liked it nonetheless

Its has and will always be my best place to get Caribbean food. Clean, food is well preserved, servers ard always on point... They waiting line sometimes is annoying but hey if you are the best people will definitely wait in line

Always great vibes. The food is always the best. Been eating from sybils since I was 12. 20 years later and it's still my favorite place to eat. Reminds me of back home! Highly recommend if you're visiting NYC to eat here!

The food here goes bad very quickly... I don’t know what happened but their pine tard & cheese roll use to be good. There is more dough than filling... also the line is ridiculously long 30 minutes tops in there just to order. The owner should really invest In his venu so it can accommodate everyone.

Only thing good here is the pastry. Bread has lost the standards and only some of the people do their jobs one lady was not calling by number but by who she knew which was not fair. They know their pastries are the best so people will keep coming despite the customer service

Very popular place, take a number by the door and wait patiently they will hey to you and serve you with a smile. The food is very good here and the people working are very courteous and professional.

Bought pastry on 7/18 found a roach in buns . Disgusting and unsanitary! I took all pastries back to owner. He admitted they had roaches beginning of pandemic, and it was taken care of. Well they still have roaches . I'm so disappointed. Been going here for years.

Sybil's is a staple if your from the Caribbean or Guyana. Theirs breads and pastries are always fresh and the drinks will remind you of being in the Caribbean. They always have a lot of people waiting but their service is quick (even if there is a long waiting time, it's worth it). I have been going to this location for over 20 years and they are always improving.

Nothing beats the pastries and the breads from this place. They are always on point. The patties are outstanding especially the Guyana Checken Patties. The food is not bad but you need to pick and choose cause it is not always consistently good. I think that would be the knock, although it would not stop me from going here to buy what they are selling. The only other draw back are the lines, BUT if you have lines like those at all times of the day and night then you must be doing something right.

Ok for 1 I never do this kind of thing but I must must must give this restaurant it's props no I don't know anyone there but I wish I did because this restaurant is by far the cleanest restaurant I've ever been too everything new and fresh food is fresh food is ABSOLUTELY DEEEELISOUS AUTHENTIC WEST INDIAN/CARIBBEAN FOOD OOOH MY GOSH even the people there look very nice clean and presentable the owner must not play around when it come to the freshness of the place because i just absolutely love it not far from Jamaica ave and so reasonable flavor been the same for more then 15 years and I'm just 30 idk how long they been open one love shout out to the whole sybil staff full of flava 1💗

My family has been coming here for generations. This is the best place for Guyanese delicacies. Sybil’s is the greatest. I will never forget the countless trips my grandma made just to get her grandchildren food and sweets from here. ❤️❤️❤️
